How well does the product meet the brief?

The video really shows Gatorade as the go-to drink for athletes. It makes the brand look cool and important for staying energized and recovering after sports, which is exactly what the brief wanted.

How is the audience engaged?

The fast-paced, exciting shots of athletes and bright colors keep it interesting for teens. The voice-over is catchy and easy to remember (“Gatorade, thirst quencher”), so it sticks in your head.

Integration of Conventions & Technologies:

It uses typical sports drink stuff like close-ups of opening the drink and the drink splashing out, with quick cuts that match the upbeat music. The filming was done on a iPhone 16 camera to make everything look sharp, and editing was done in Cap Cut with cool music to pump up the energy.

Strengths & Areas for Improvement:

  • Strengths: The video looks really professional and fits the Gatorade vibe well. It’s easy to understand and fun, funny, easy and entertaining to watch.

  • Improvements: It could be more real by adding clips of actual athletes talking about Gatorade or showing behind-the-scenes moments.
