Title: Gatorade Brand Analysis & Audience Survey

Competitor Analysis

  • Powerade: Mostly known as a sports drink for athletes. They use a lot of pro athlete ads and focus on electrolytes and helping people recover after workouts.

  • BodyArmor: Seen as a fancier sports drink with natural stuff and extra vitamins. The bottles are super colorful and it’s more for people who care about health.

  • Vitaminwater: It’s kind of a mix between a regular drink and a sports drink. It has vitamins and cool flavors, so it’s more for people who want something tasty and healthy, not just for workouts.

Audience Survey (Google Forms)
We asked 30 students (ages 14–18) about what they think of sports drinks:

  • 87% said they like Gatorade the most after working out.

  • The biggest reasons people buy it are electrolytes (85%), brand trust (80%), and flavor choices (70%).

  • The best types of ads were athlete endorsements (73%), cool action shots (65%), and bright, bold colors (60%).

Stylistic Moodboard

  • Used bright colors like red, and blue and to make it feel energetic and sporty.

  • Picked bold bright Gatorade logos

  • Added clips of athletes playing and drinking Gatorade. It’s all about energy, effort, and pushing yourself.
