Final Film Opening- Sound, Music & Effects- (Evaluation)
For the party scene, as the editor I focused on the sound design by using typical house music in the background, but I made sure the dialogue levels were louder so the audience could still follow and understand what was being said. I kept natural ambient noise like crickets and wind because it made the mise‑en‑scène feel more realistic. When the antagonists were talking about their plan, we used quieter, more controlled dialogue to build suspense and create mystery, since they never fully reveal what they mean. These choices were effective because they added a sense of thriller style tension without showing anything graphic. The different shots we used added variety and kept the audience engaged, and our editing and music choices help attract different audience demographics so the film appeals to a wider group.
